What is happening?
Grande will be migrating your mygrande.net email accounts to a more modern, stable, and updated platform. This will begin on or about January 29th, 2024 and will be completed in the weeks following.
Who is affected?
Anyone with an mygrande.net email account will be part of this change.
What will be different?
If you use POP3 or IMAP in a client application on your device (laptop, desktop, tablet, phone), you will not notice any difference in functionality. If you access your email through webmail on a web browser, you will notice that the login screen and interface you use will have changed, but all of your data will have migrated to the new interface.
Do I have to do anything differently?
No. No changes are required to use the new, updated platform.
Will I lose access to my email during this change?
No. The way you access your mail will always be available.
Will I lose email?
No. All data including contacts, calendar items, and most settings will migrate from the old system to the new platform.
Will I use the same password?
Yes. You will not need to update your password. Astound will never ask a customer for their password except to login. If you choose to change your password and you’re using a POP/IMAP/SMTP client on your mobile device, it may take up to an hour before this password change takes effect.
