In November 2021, Astound Broadband powered by Grande was honored to support the Gazelle Foundation’s “Run For the Water” as a media sponsor. The Austin-based nonprofit brought clean water to 5,000 people in four communities in Burundi Africa thanks to the funds raised in the race.
Governed by employees and funded by employee donations, the Grande Community Chest is a 501(c) (3) organization that makes grants of up to $5,000 to non-profit organizations in our business footprint to address the following needs:

The Grande Employee Employee Memorial Scholarship Fund was established to honor deceased employees by awarding college scholarships to select high school seniors in two Astound Broadband powered by Grande markets each year on a rotating basis. To date, scholarships have been presented in Austin, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, San Marcos, Midland/Odessa, Dallas, and Waco.
JA Finance Park, Junior Achievement’s capstone program for personal financial planning and career exploration, is offered to schools free of cost thanks to Astound employees through Grande Cares.
