Can I bring my own phone?
Yes. If you love your phone, but want to change your current carrier, you are able to bring your compatible and unlocked phone (and phone number) to Astound Mobile.
How do I bring my number to Astound Mobile?
When you are signing up for Astound Mobile, you will indicate if you want to bring your existing number or get a completely new one. Once you have finished your purchase, you can start your number transfer request. You’ll have another chance to request a transfer after you receive your SIM card.
You will need the following information to complete the request:
- Current carrier account number
- Current carrier PIN (Learn where to find this information)
- Billing ZIP code
Will I be able to switch (upgrade or downgrade) my mobile plan?
Yes, you can upgrade or add Additonal Data Top Off through AstoundMobile.com or the Astound Mobile app. If you would like to downgrade or delete a line from your account, please reach out to our Care team at 1.800.427.8686.
Are there savings when I bundle Astound Mobile service with Astound Internet?
You must have Astound Internet to sign up for mobile service. We have several promotions available to choose from. The amount of savings for bundled services is dependent on the combination of services that you choose. On our website, a bill calculator will allow you to view any savings between Astound Mobile and your current provider.
What carrier provides the best coverage and how does Astound mobile compare?
Astound Mobile rides on a powerful nationwide 5G network. Like all wireless carriers, coverage and data speeds vary by location and geography. Please review the interactive coverage map on our website to view coverage in your area.
What do I need to get started?
First, you will need to be an Astound internet customer who lives in our serviceable area, is in good standing and who meets all customer requirements to add mobile service. Next steps are the follow the activation process that is outlined on our website or by contacting us at 1.800.427.8686.
I’m a current Astound customer; can I sign up for Astound Mobile?
Yes, you can sign up for Astound Mobile at any time so long as you’re an Astound internet customer.
Here is how to sign up on Astound Mobile:
- Step 1: Visit astoundmobile.com/astound.com to sign up.
- Step 2: Choose your plan. Choose a plan that best meets your budget and current data usage.
- Step 3: Add additional lines. Add up to four additional lines for friends or family members (for a total of five lines on your account). If you’re adding the lines, you’re the Group Owner.
- Step 4: Billing and Shipping. Let us know where to send your SIM(s) and provide a phone number we can call in the event of any shipping or billing issues.
- Step 5: Review your plan charges. You’ll have a chance to look over your order summary. Your plan charges will appear on an upcoming monthly statement after your service has been activated.
- Step 6: Confirmation. Congratulations on completing the sign-up steps! Your Welcome Kit is on its way. Once you receive it, you can proceed to activation.
