FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How can I apply for the casting call?
You can apply by filling out the submission form on the webpage located here: astound.com/casting-call. You must complete all required fields and submit the form to apply. All submissions must include a video or photo attachment to qualify.
What type(s) of photo/video files are accepted?
Share your videos (.mp4 or .mov) and/or photos (.jpg, .png or .gif) directly from your phone or computer. Video and photo files should be no larger than 25MB.
Who is eligible to participate?
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or be selected for the Casting Call. It is open to all legal residents of the United States. Participants must be at least 18 years of age or older as of March 5, 2025. Additional eligibility restrictions apply, and may be found in the Official Rules.
When does the casting call start and end?
The casting call will be open from March 5, 2025 at 9:00 am EST through April 13, 2025 at 6:00 pm EST. All photo and video submissions must be submitted by April 13, 2025 at 6:00 pm EST pursuant to the Official Rules of the contest.
How many times can I apply?
One application per household is allowed. Duplicate applications will be disqualified.
What can cause disqualification of my submission?
Casting Call submissions can be disqualified for the following reasons:
- All duplicate and/or incomplete entries will be void
- Submission includes unsafe/profane language or messaging
- Submission does not abide by the Social Community Guidelines
- Submission that feature other brand logos
- Other reasons as set forth in more detail can be found in the Official Rules
How will cast members be selected?
Winners will be selected at any time during the promotion.
How many cast members will be selected?
Five (5) households will be selected from the qualified submissions.
How do I know if I am selected for the casting call?
An Astound representative will contact cast members directly by phone and/or email. Cast members will be contacted within three (3) business days after the cast has been selected.
I was cast! How will I be compensated?
Five (5) households will be selected to participate in the Casting Call. Each household will be compensated with one year (12 months) of Astound 1 Gig Internet Service.
Is compensation taxable?
Yes, any federal and state taxes on the compensation are the sole responsibility of the cast member(s). Please read the Official Rules completely for additional terms, conditions, and restrictions.
