One of the great things about our job at Astound is broadcasting championship games for girls and boys high school sports in our coverage area.
After a long hard season, great to see the victors getting gold and silver metals placed around their necks and racing the championship trophy.
Some schools have participated in this honor multiple times over the last few years.
Elsewhere, teams are earning their first trip to the state tournament in 12 years for one school… and another winning their first championships in 31 years!
As coaches will say, that special feeling never gets old, and it’s our pleasure to bring these special moments to our viewers in multiple sports each season.
