BML Preview ’26

It looks as though there will be a lot of similar teams atop the Blue Mountain League baseball standings in 2026 as there have been the last few years.

Both the Orioles and the Bulls, the two teams that have competed in the championship the last 2 years, look to be among the teams to beat this summer. Many key players returned to both of these teams. The Northern Yankees and Avengers also continue to be strong this year.

All four of these franchises built their team with solid pitching depth, good all-around athletes and players who can play a bunch of different positions, which is especially key over the summer when player personnel can sometimes be an issue.

Two teams that had nice bounce back seasons a year ago, the royals and the dodgers, are also featuring multiple players back this year. Look for their turnarounds to continue in 2026.

As always, you don’t know what’ll happen on any given night in the BML. Be sure to tune into the Blue Mountain League baseball game of the week every Tuesday night on Astound TV Network.  Also, be on the lookout for representatives of the league to be on an upcoming edition of SportsTalk live, seen on ATVN on Thursday nights!
