Once again this summer, the Astound Television Network will be broadcast the deciding game(s) of this year’s Blue Mountain League baseball<\/a> championship series. Even before we get to the final round, it’s been an interesting postseason thus far!<\/p>\n

First, the Hellertown Royals under the direction of long-time manager Bob Zerfass had to make a furious run during the last week of the regular season just to qualify for the playoffs. “Coach Zerf” is in his 50th, and final, season as the team’s head coach, and the players have responded by trying to make sure this season runs as long as possible.<\/p>\n

Winning its last three regular season games and then beating Easton in a tiebreaker, the Royals won jumped out a 1-0 series lead in their quarterfinal round.<\/p>\n
