It was a memorable week on several fronts this past week<\/strong> as Astound TV Network<\/em> covered the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference and Colonial League baseball championships.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Allen won its first baseball title of any kind in over 30 years, with a\u00a0freshman\u00a0starting pitcher, Alejandro\u00a0cartagena, combining to throw a no-hitter against Whitehall in the EPC title game (highlights from that game are below).<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last Thursday, an emotional win for Southern Lehigh Head Coach Todd Miller and his team over Leighton (see also below). Both the Canaries and the Spartans will be the top seed in the\u00a0District\u00a011, 6A and 5A playoffs, respectively. ATVN<\/em> will have all the local baseball championships broadcast live the following week after Memorial Day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Before we get to that point, astound will be broadcasting the 2A and 3A district girls and\u00a0boys\u00a0lacrosse championship games this upcoming week starting at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
