{"id":86544,"date":"2022-08-16T13:24:38","date_gmt":"2022-08-16T13:24:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.astound.com\/atvn\/?p=86544"},"modified":"2023-02-14T05:33:14","modified_gmt":"2023-02-14T05:33:14","slug":"st-football-schedule-22-highlights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.astound.com\/atvn\/st-football-schedule-22-highlights\/","title":{"rendered":"Football Schedule &#8217;22 Highlights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are closing in on the start of another school year and a busy 10-month stretch of high school sports productions coming up on the Astound TV Network.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are also wrapping up a successful summer broadcast campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First up\u2026a look ahead.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our first high school broadcast of the new season will be on Friday, August 26, with a doubleheader featuring four teams that competed in last year\u2019s District XI playoffs\u2013Freedom, Emmaus, Easton and Parkland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We also will post our scholastic football schedule here on our website very soon.\u00a0 I firmly believe ATVN customers will be pleasantly satisfied with a number of key elements for our slate this fall.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of our highlights include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A significant increase in the number of Colonial League games<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More Northampton regular season football games this regular season<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A bigger variety of teams on our schedule than any other year<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the pre-season &#8220;teams to beat&#8221; appears to be Emmaus, Parkland, Nazareth and Freedom (our full \u201cpolls\u201d will be released next week here on this blog and on our Thursday \u201cSportsTalk\u201d show), we still have 11 other teams in our coverage area on our schedule at least twice<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All of the &#8220;large school&#8221;
