Before we take a look at this week\u2019s “SportsTalk”<\/a> high school football poll for teams in the RCN viewing area, I want to give people a heads-up of some \u201ccan\u2019t miss\u201d episodes of the RCN SportsTalk<\/a> show over the next few weeks!<\/p>\n

Our guests and show topics will include\u2026<\/p>\n

Coaches and players from this year\u2019s PIAA State Champion\u00a0 Allentown Central Catholic Vikings<\/a><\/p>\n

Legendary Emmaus Field Hockey<\/a> Head Coach Sue Butz-Stavin<\/a>, who is closing in on 1,000 coaching victories for her career<\/p>\n

Good Counsel Head Football<\/a> Coach Andy Stefanelli<\/a> of the DMV, discussing MaxPrep\u2019s declaration that he\u2019s playing one of the top five most competitive schedules in the country<\/p>\n

Doctors and athletic trainers discussing the continuing concerns and issues in playing sports and suggested precautions to utilize to stay healthy in the COVID-10 era<\/p>\n

Last but certainly not least, RCN\u2019s Gary Laubach<\/a> will talk Lafayette football<\/a>, local sports issues and will also reveal some personal news about himself and his great career<\/p>\n

Make sure you set reminders, schedule your DVRs and check out the shows through On-Demand (free for RCN customers) for some of the biggest shows and very important interviews!<\/p>\n

Now, it\u2019s time to look at this week’s input from the RCN SportsTalk pollsters — a random collection of local coaches, athletic directors and media members.<\/p>\n

Our preseason #1 team — the Parkland Trojans<\/a> — are now the ONLY Eastern Pennsylvania Conference South’s undefeated team through the first four weeks of the season. Parkland defeated Freedom<\/a>, 19-15 last Friday night. If you missed the game, RCN customers can watch it for free through RCN On Demand!<\/p>\n

Our #2 and #3 teams (Freedom<\/a> and Nazareth<\/a>) face off against each other this Friday. You can watch that game live on RCN TV at 7pm.<\/p>\n

Our preseason top Colonial League team — Notre Dame<\/a> also remains undefeated, after a hard-fought win over Northern Lehigh<\/a>. Northwestern, our number two preseason team, also is 4-0.<\/p>\n

Below we have high school polls for both leagues in the RCN viewing area, along with the listing of all of the teams that are included in our respective categories.<\/p>\n
