Here are three local sports observations before we take a look at this week’s high school basketball polls\u2026<\/p>\n

1)\u00a0 District 11<\/a> announced its schedule and sites for its upcoming postseason events for its individual wrestling tournaments coming up for the 2A and 3A classifications:<\/p>\n

Regional Wrestling Tournaments (Feb. 27):
\nAA – Central Dauphin East HS<\/a>
\nAAA – The Charles Chrin Community Center of Palmer Township<\/a><\/p>\n

East Super Regional Wrestling Tournaments (March 6):
\nAA – Pottsville Area HS<\/a>
\nAAA – Quakertown HS<\/a><\/p>\n

The state tournament will once again be held at the Hershey Arena<\/a>. In addition to this week’s regionals, last week’s 2A district championships were held at a unique location – the Charles Chrin Community Center. It certainly has been a strange winter sports season!<\/p>\n

2) Before the basketball playoffs get underway later this week, we discussed many of the teams in the Lehigh Valley on the latest \u201cSportsTalk<\/a>\u201d show.<\/p>\n
