One aspect of sports coverage that has changed with the early start to high\u00a0school sports season is that our RCN SportsTalk team has been extremely\u00a0proactive in trying to reach as many school districts and sports as possible\u00a0by scheduling interviews with as many teams as possible, well in advance\u00a0of the start of the school year.<\/p>\n

This week traditionally was the start of the school\u2019s \u201csports year,\u201d but with\u00a0the earlier starts to the season, we\u2019ve been contacting coaches and\u00a0scheduling interviews well before the first day of school. So as we\u00a0celebrate \u201cLabor Day\u201d this week (and the remaining school districts that\u00a0have not yet opened, conduct their \u201cfirst day of school\u201d activities), I wanted\u00a0to point out all the Eastern Pennsylvania schools in our coverage area that\u00a0we have scheduled to interview in the next week or have already spoken\u00a0with:<\/p>\n

We will also have features on our \u201cDMV\u201d teams coming up over the next\u00a0several months as well, thanks to our friends at the Office of Cable\u00a0Television in Washington, DC<\/a>\u00a0 and we will CONTINUE to be out covering\u00a0games over the next several months in addition to featuring in-studio sports\u00a0guests from different schools on \u201cSportsTalk\u201d and broadcasting live football\u00a0games every weekend.<\/p>\n
