Someone asked me when I was leaving Saturday\u2019s Emmaus<\/a>\/Bethlehem Catholic\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0football team if, in my entire football watching experiences, I had ever seen a game as wild as that evening\u2019s 50-49 tilt.<\/p>\n

My response?<\/p>\n

\u201cYes I have\u2026the night before!\u201d<\/p>\n

It was clearly the biggest scoring weekend of games I have ever announced in my career, with nearly 200 points being scored in two games.<\/p>\n

Saturday might not have been the cleanest of games, with way too many penalties and two huge (and extremely costly) turnovers, but Friday\u2019s game between Saucon Valley<\/a>\u00a0and Notre Dame<\/a> for the right to the Colonial League<\/a> crown was as good of an offensive showing as I\u2019ve seen in years\u2026maybe ever?<\/p>\n

It was a great contrast of styles between the aerial attack of the Crusaders and the \u201cGround-and-Pound\u201d Panthers, who were nearly perfect on the few passes they attempted.\u00a0 Great coaching calls, clutch players, spectacular plays\u2026if you don\u2019t care about defense, you would have loved that game!<\/p>\n
