Recently, I had the good fortune of interviewing a very special individual on our show.<\/p>\n<p>Jack O\u2019Halloran has continued to have a tremendous career, in sports, movies, books, productions and, in many other circles of life.<\/p>\n<p>Jack, born in Philadelphia, grew up in the Delaware Valley and fought some of the greatest names in boxing history, and acted alongside some of the cinema\u2019s biggest names of all time.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/06kGuS5nA80\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>A <a title=\"California Boxing Hall of Fame\" href=\"http:\/\/www.boxing.com\/california_boxing_hall_of_fame.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">California Boxing Hall of Fame <\/a>inductee, Jack shared his personal stories of <a title=\"Muhammad Ali\" href=\"http:\/\/muhammadali.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mohammad Ali<\/a>, <a title=\"George Foreman\" href=\"http:\/\/www.georgeforeman.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">George Foreman<\/a>, Ken Norton and other great, ranked fighters.<\/p>\n<p>He is developing his 2010 novel, \u201cFamily Legacy,\u201d into a film (looking to release it next year) which deals with thought-provoking questions and unique aspects of American life, in addition to writing and producing other projects.<\/p>\n<p>As an actor, Jack\u2019s most well-known role was that of \u201cNon\u201d in the classic \u201cSuperman I\u201d and \u201cSuperman II\u201d films. He told us wonderful stories about his friends and colleagues &#8211; Sarah Douglas, Gene Hackman, <a title=\"Marlon Brando\" href=\"http:\/\/marlonbrando.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marlon Brando<\/a>\u00a0and <a title=\"Christopher Reeve\" href=\"https:\/\/www.christopherreeve.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Christopher Reeve <\/a>&#8211; as well as Robert Mitchum, James Earl Jones, Johnny Carson, Ed McMahon, Ted Kennedy and many other well-known celebrities.<\/p>\n<p>He talked with me about his excitement following his childhood team, the <a title=\"Philadelphia Eagles\" href=\"http:\/\/philadelphiaeagles.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eagles<\/a>, to the Super Bowl this past winter, and shared a great story involving former Birds Hall of Fame Quarterback Sonny Jurgensen, Head Coach Joe Kuharich and how he \u201calmost\u201d went to play for this favorite team.
